Item 8.01 Other Events
On April 18, 2014, Fidelity Southern Corporation ("Fidelity") issued a press release announcing its Board of Directors on April 17, 2014 approved the distribution of a quarterly cash dividend of $.08 per share on its Common Stock. This dividend is payable May 14, 2014, to shareholders of record on May 1, 2014. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
