| (e) | As previously reported in a Form 8-K dated April 3, 2014, the Compensation Committee and Board of Directors of Pier 1 Imports, Inc. (the “Company”) approved fiscal year 2015 long-term incentive awards that are subject to vesting with respect to one or more of the Company’s fiscal years 2015, 2016 and 2017. Each of the Company’s named executive officers, other than its President and Chief Executive Officer, received a long-term equity incentive award on April 11, 2014. Alexander W. Smith, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, received long-term equity incentive awards pursuant to his employment agreement as previously reported in a Form 8-K dated March 2, 2014. | |
