Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On April 15, 2014, Joshua A. Polan gave notice to the board of directors of Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) that he will not stand for re-election to the Company’s board of directors at the Company’s 2014 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
Mr. Polan’s decision is not as a result of any disagreement with the Company’s management or the board of directors.
The Company is grateful to Mr. Polan for his years of service on the board of directors.
