Item 8.01. Other Events
On April 7, 2014, Energy XXI (Bermuda) Limited (the “Parent”) issued a press release announcing that it and EPL Oil & Gas, Inc. (“EPL”) have received early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, in connection with Energy XXI’s pending acquisition of EPL.
