Item 8.01 Other Events.

 

Alliqua, Inc. (the “Company”) currently plans to hold its 2014 Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the “2014 Annual Meeting”) on June 5, 2014. The Company did not hold an annual meeting during 2013. As a result, the Company has set the following deadline for the receipt of any shareholder proposals submitted pursuant to Rule 14a-8 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, for inclusion in the Company’s proxy materials for the 2014 Annual Meeting: such proposals must be received at the Company’s principal executive offices no later than the close of business on April 16, 2014, which the Company considers a reasonable time before it begins to print and send its proxy materials. Such proposals will need to comply with the rules of the Securities and Exchange Commission regarding the inclusion of shareholder proposals in the Company’s proxy materials, and may be omitted if not in compliance with applicable requirements.
