Explanatory Note:
The sole purpose of this amendment on Form 8-K/A to the Current Report on Form 8-K (the “Original Form 8-K”) filed on April 7, 2014 by Abraxas Petroleum Corporation (the “Company”) is to correct the slide presentation that Abraxas CEO presented at the IPAA OGIS New York on April 7, 2014. The correct presentation is attached as Exhibit 99.1.

The Company’s CEO, Robert L.G. Watson will be presenting at IPAA OGIS New York at 9:10 AM ET on Monday, April 7, 2014. Attached as Exhibit 99.1 are materials that Mr. Watson will present.
