In accordance with general instruction B.2. of Current Report on Form 8-K, the following information (including Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2) is furnished and shall not be deemed filed for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
On March 26, 2014, Regions Financial Corporation (“Regions”) issued a press release announcing the results of the Federal Reserve’s Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review of Regions. A copy of the press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and incorporated by reference under this Item 7.01.
In addition, on March 26, 2014, Regions is disclosing the results of its company-administered stress test on the Investor Relations page of regions.com. This disclosure is required by 12 CFR 252.148, which implements the requirements of Section 165(i) (2) of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. A copy of the summary of results that will be posted on Regions’ website is being furnished as Exhibit 99.2 to this report. Exhibit 99.2 is incorporated by reference under this Item 7.01.
