MVB Financial Corp. (MVBF) Announces Two-for-One Stock Split

 

FAIRMONT, W.Va., (March 26, 2014) — MVB Financial Corp., (OTC Markets Group OTCQB: MVBF), and its subsidiary bank, MVB Bank, Inc., (MVB), today announced the Board of Directors has declared, and shareholders have approved,  a two-for-one stock split of the company’s common stock.

 

The record date for the stock split was March 21, 2014. Shareholders of record at that time will receive one new share of common stock for each share owned as of the market close on the record date. The distribution of new shares will be made on or about April 1, 2014.

 

“We are very pleased to be able to enhance the availability and liquidity of our shares to allow more participation in MVB’s success, while at the same time rewarding our large number of loyal long-term investors,” said Larry F. Mazza, President and CEO of MVB Financial Corp. “This stock split reflects our Board’s strong belief in MVB’s future growth, and recognizes the stock price increase experienced in recent years.”

 

MVB Financial Corp. had approximately 3.95 million shares of common stock outstanding as of March 20, 2014. The stock split will increase the common shares outstanding to approximately 7.9 million.
