EXPLANATORY NOTE
In a release issued earlier today by Hanmi Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:HAFC), the closing record date should have been March 28, 2014.
Item 8.01. Other Events.
On March 17, 2014, Hanmi Financial Corporation ("Hanmi Financial") issued a press release declaring a cash dividend of $0.07 per share. The dividend will be paid on or about April 18, 2014, to Hanmi's stockholders of record as of the close of business on March 28, 2014.
A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
