(b) On March 13, 2014, Chinh E. Chu, Pierre Olivier Sarkozy, Wilbur L. Ross, Jr. and Lance N. West separately notified the Board of Directors of BankUnited, Inc. (the “Company”) that they will not stand for re-election to the Company’s Board of Directors at its 2014 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Their decision did not involve a disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
