On February 28, 2014, Pier 1 Imports, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s updated guidance for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year ending March 1, 2014, and the Company’s participation in the Raymond James 35th Annual Institutional Investors Conference being held March 2-5, 2014 at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes Hotel in Orlando, Florida. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
