On February 27, 2014, Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc., or Cubist, issued a press release announcing that the European Medicines Agency has accepted for review Cubist’s Marketing Authorization Application for its investigational antibiotic tedizolid phosphate. A copy of the press release announcing this event has been filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
