Explanatory Note
We are filing this Current Report on Form 8-K/A (the “Amendment”) to amend and restate Swift Energy Company’s prior 8-K filing solely to correct administrative errors in the tables included in Exhibit 99 whereby the year used for several dates was inadvertently “2014” instead of the correct year, “2013.” The tables included in Exhibit 99 filed with this Amendment have been corrected.
Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition
In a news release before the market opened on February 27, 2014, Swift Energy Company announced preliminary unaudited fourth quarter and full year 2013 financial and operational results, and reported that certain of its officers would discuss such financial results in a conference call to be held at 9:00 a.m. (CST) on that date. In the release, the Company also announced that the conference call would be webcast live and archived on its website.
The press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99. Swift Energy Company does not intend for this Item 2.02 or Exhibit 99 to be incorporated by reference into its filings under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
