Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 21, 2014, Donald P. Bunnell, Chief Commercial Officer and a director of Synthesis Energy Systems, Inc. (the “Company”), terminated his pre-arranged stock trading plan established under Rule 10b-5-1 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, to sell shares of the Company’s common stock. While the plan was in effect, Mr. Bunnell sold 309,856 shares of the Company’s common stock, and as a result, he continues to own 3,494,462 shares of the Company’s common stock (as of the date hereof).
