Item 8.01 Other Events
On February 20, 2014, Egalet Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted Fast Track status for both Egalet-001, the Company’s lead product candidate, and Egalet-002, the Company’s second product candidate. A copy of that press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
