Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 31, 2014, Lexington Realty Trust, or the Trust, announced that it commenced a registered exchange offer to exchange any and all of its outstanding 4.25% Senior Notes due 2023 that were issued in a private placement for an equal principal amount of new 4.25% Senior Notes due 2023 that have been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. Both the private notes and the registered notes are guaranteed by Lepercq Corporate Income Fund L.P. A copy of the Trust’s press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated by reference herein.
