Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 5, 2014, Green Plains Renewable Energy, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend to its shareholders. The quarterly cash dividend of $0.04 per common share will be paid on March 21, 2014, to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on February 28, 2014. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
