Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On January 24, 2014, Athlon Energy Inc. (“Athlon”) issued a press release announcing, among other things: (i) its fourth quarter and full year of 2013 production update; (ii) its fourth quarter and full year of 2013 drilling update; (iii) acquisition highlights; and (iv) its 2014 outlook. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
