ITEM 8.01 Other Events
On January 14, 2014 the Board of Directors of General Motors Company (the Company) declared a quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share on its common stock payable March 28, 2014 to all common stockholders of record as of March 18, 2014. This represents the first dividend declaration on the Company's common stock. The Press Release related thereto is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
