Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 30, 2013, Avnet, Inc. announced that it has acquired the remaining interest in MSC Investoren GmbH, a recognized value-add distributor focused on electronic component distribution, embedded computing technology and display solutions, as well as design and manufacturing. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
