On December 27, 2013, National Fuel Gas Company’s (the “Company”) Executive Chairman of the Board, David F. Smith, provided notice to the Company of his intention to retire as an employee of the Company, effective April 1, 2014. Mr. Smith will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
