Lionsgate Announces First Quarterly Cash Dividend of $0.05 Per Common Share

SANTA MONICA, CA, and VANCOUVER, BC, December 19, 2013 - Lionsgate’s (NYSE: LGF) Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of five cents ($0.05) per common share, the Company announced today.  The first dividend is payable on February 7, 2014 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 31, 2013.

“Our outstanding film and TV performance continues to translate into strong financial results,” said Lionsgate Chief Executive Officer Jon Feltheimer and Vice Chairman Michael Burns.  “We’re pleased that our financial strength and excellent visibility enable us to offer our first quarterly dividend, returning value to our shareholders as we continue to grow the Company.”
