LNB Bancorp, Inc. Announces Redemption of All Outstanding Series B Preferred Stock

LORAIN, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--December 17, 2013--LNB Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: LNBB) announced today that it has issued a notice to redeem all of its 9,147 outstanding shares of Fixed Rate Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series B (the “Series B Preferred Stock”) for an aggregate price of $9,147,000, the face liquidation amount of the shares, plus approximately $79,000 of accrued but unpaid dividends. The shares will be redeemed from current holders through The Depository Trust Company as securities depository for the Series B Preferred Stock. The redemption date is January 17, 2014.

A notice of redemption is being distributed to the holders of the Series B Preferred Stock through The Depository Trust Company. Following completion of the redemption, there will be no shares of Series B Preferred Stock outstanding.
