On December 11, 2013, XPO Logistics, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has agreed to acquire all of the outstanding capital stock of Landstar Supply Chain Solutions, Inc., which owns all of the outstanding equity interests of Landstar Supply Chain Solutions LLC (together, “LSCS”). LSCS is the largest provider of web-based expedited transportation management in North America. A copy of the Company’s press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
