Item 5.02      Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

Effective as of December 1, 2013, Mr. Ned M. Bassil no longer will serve as Chief Supply Chain Officer of BlueLinx Holdings Inc. (the “Company”).

 

Item 8.01      Other Events

 

On November 26, 2013, the Company consummated the sale of its distribution center located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The approximately 57,000-square-foot distribution center sold for $2.0 million. The Company expects to record a gain of approximately $1.3 million related to this transaction in the fourth quarter of 2013 as a reduction of operating expense. The Company will use the proceeds from the sale to repay indebtedness.
