(b) On December 3, 2013, Ihab M. Toma announced that, effective December 31, 2013, he will step down as Executive Vice President, Chief of Staff of Transocean Ltd. Upon Mr. Toma's departure, the position of Chief of Staff will be eliminated and responsibilities will be redistributed.
