On November 25, 2013, Fifth Third Bancorp (the “Company”) issued a press release regarding the resolution of certain repurchase claims related to mortgage loans originated and sold to the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac) prior to January 1, 2009.
A copy of the above-referenced press release is being filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
