DFC Global Corp. (the “Company”) has been informed that a purported class action lawsuit has been filed against it and certain of its senior executives in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The complaint, which purports to be brought as a class action on behalf of purchasers of the Company’s common stock between January 28, 2011 and August 22, 2013, alleges violations of federal securities laws regarding disclosures made by the Company with respect to its U.K. regulatory compliance and lending practices and related matters. The complaint seeks unspecified monetary and other relief. The Company believes that the complaint is without merit and intends to defend against it vigorously.
