On October 31, 2013, Newtek Business Services, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release entitled “Newtek Business Services, Inc. Selected to Service a $400 Million Loan Portfolio; Newtek’s Total Loan Servicing Portfolio Exceeds $1.0 Billion”, a copy of which is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

On November 5, 2013, the Company issued a press release entitled “Newtek Business Services, Inc. Enters into Letter of Commitment for a $75 Million Revolving Credit Facility with Goldman Sachs Bank USA”, a copy of which is furnished as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
