Item 8.01. Other Events.
On October 31, 2013, National Health Investors, Inc. (NYSE: NHI) announced that the Company has made an additional $17 million commitment to two senior housing properties with its current tenant, Chancellor Health Care, consisting of a $9.5 million acquisition and planned renovation of Woodlands Assisted Living in Baltimore, Maryland and a $7.5 million commitment to construct a new free-standing assisted living and memory care community in Loma Linda, California.
