On October 3, 2013, Pericom Semiconductor Corporation (the "Company") was informed by Mr. Edward Yang, who is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Company, that he has decided he will not stand for re-election to the Board of Directors when his term expires at the Company’s 2013 annual meeting of shareholders, which will be held on December 5, 2013. His decision was not due to any disagreement with the Company regarding the Company's operations, policies or practices. The Company thanks Mr. Yang for his service as a director since 2009.
