Item 8.01 Other Events.

 

On September 24, 2013, Lightlake Therapeutics Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company has begun a two-week clinical trial designed to evaluate the pharmacokinetic properties of the Company’s intranasal naloxone application in 14 healthy volunteer subjects. The trial began on September 23, 2013, and is being conducted in partnership with the National Institute on Drug Abuse, part of the National Institutes of Health. The press release describes the goal of the collaboration to establish a regulatory pathway for its opioid addiction treatment. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
