Item 7.01. Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On September 19, 2013, Western Asset Mortgage Capital Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it had declared a quarterly dividend of $0.90 and that its estimated book value as of August 31, 2013 was approximately $16.37. The text of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
