(b) On September 18, 2013, Chemung Financial Corporation (the “Corporation”) appointed John R. Battersby, Jr. as interim Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Corporation and interim Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Corporation’s wholly owned subsidiary, Chemung Canal Trust Company (the “Bank”).
Prior to this interim appointment, Mr. Battersby, age 62, had served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Corporation and Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Bank from 2004 until his retirement as of December 31, 2012.
