JETBLUE AIRWAYS REPORTS AUGUST TRAFFIC

NEW YORK (September 12, 2013) -- JetBlue Airways Corporation [NASDAQ: JBLU] reported its preliminary traffic results for August 2013. Traffic in August increased 6.2 percent from August 2012, on a capacity increase of 7.2 percent.
Load factor for August 2013 was 86.8 percent, a decrease of 0.8 points from August 2012. JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 99.9 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 72.6 percent. JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) for the month of August increased three percent year over year. For the month of September, PRASM is expected to increase between 7.5 and 8.5 percent year over year.
