Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On September 9, 2013, 8x8, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing the appointment of Vikram Verma, a current member of the Company's Board of Directors ("Board"), as Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective September 9, 2013. Former Chief Executive Officer Bryan Martin will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board and will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer. Effective September 9, 2013, Mr. Verma will no longer be a member of the Audit Committee or the Compensation Committee of the Board. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
