On August 30, 2013, pursuant to the recommendation of the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors (the “Board of Directors”) of Rush Enterprises, Inc. (the “Company”), the Board of Directors approved new base salaries, effective as of September 1, 2013, for certain named executive officers of the Company, as follows:
