Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
(b) On August 22, 2013, MeetMe, Inc. (the “Company”) announced the resignation of its Chief Technology Officer, Gavin Roy. Mr. Roy will remain with the Company as Chief Technology Officer until September 3, 2013, when his resignation as Chief Technology Officer will become effective, after which he will assist the Company with the transition over the coming months.
(c) On August 22, 2013, the Company announced the appointment of Richard Friedman, age 42, as Chief Technology Officer, commencing September 3, 2013. Mr. Friedman was VP Software Engineering for the Company from January 2009 through March 2013.
Additional information regarding Mr. Friedman is included in the Company’s press release dated August 22, 2013, which is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K.
