On August 14, 2013, Alcoa Inc. issued a press release announcing that it will close or curtail 164,000 metric tons of smelting capacity in the United States and Brazil as part of its smelting capacity review that was announced in May. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99 and incorporated herein by reference.
