Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On August 7, 2013, Transcept Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release relating to its financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2013 and certain other information. The full text of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
