On July 31, 2013, ING U.S., Inc. (the “Company”) was informed that Jan H.M. Hommen will step down from the Board of Directors of the Company, effective October 1, 2013.
The October 1 timing is in line with Mr. Hommen’s previously announced retirement, effective October 1, 2013, from his positions as chief executive officer of ING Group, chairman of the ING Group Executive Board and chairman of the Management Boards of ING Bank and ING Eurasia N.V.
