Item 1.01. Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
On August 2, 2013, MidWestOne Bank (the “Bank”), the wholly-owned subsidiary of MidWestOne Financial Group, Inc. (the “Company”), entered into a contract with Knutson Construction Services Midwest for the restoration and remodeling of the building which serves as the main office of the Bank and the headquarters of the Company. The estimated cost of the restoration and remodeling is $13.8 million, and it is anticipated that construction will be completed in April 2016.
In connection with this project, the Bank has also engaged Neumann Munson, P.C. to provide certain architectural design services. Kevin W. Monson, director and chairman of the Company and the Bank, is president, managing partner and majority owner of Neumann Munson, P.C.
