Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. is filing this Amendment No. 1 to its Current Report on Form 8-K filed on August 2, 2013 to correct a typographical error in footnote 7 to the Guidance table in the section entitled “2013 Outlook” in the earnings press release attached thereto. A copy of the corrected press release is included as exhibit 99.1 hereto.
