ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.
On July 29, 2013, Anacor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. issued a press release announcing that on July 26, 2013 it submitted its New Drug Application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for tavaborole, its drug candidate for the topical treatment of onychomycosis.
A copy of such press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
