Item 2. 02 Results of Operation and Financial Condition.
On July 26, 2013, Provident Financial Services, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its financial results for the three months and six months ended June 30, 2013. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is being furnished to the SEC and shall not be deemed “filed” for any purpose.
Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On July 26, 2013, the Company announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.14 per common share, payable on August 30, 2013 to stockholders of record on August 15, 2013.
This announcement was included as part of the press release announcing financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2013 issued by the Company on July 26, 2013 and attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report. A copy of the press release is being furnished to the SEC and shall not be deemed “filed” for any purpose.
