Item 8.01 Other Events
On July 22, 2013, Edgen Group Inc. (“Edgen Group,” the “Company,” “we”, “us” or “our”) announced it will release its second quarter 2013 financial results on Thursday, August 8, 2013 after the market closes. The Company will conduct an investor conference call at 11:00 a.m. EDT (10:00 a.m. CDT) on Friday, August 9, 2013, to discuss the financial results for the second quarter 2013. Instructions on how to participate in the conference call are contained in the announcement, a copy of which is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
