ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS
On July 11, 2013, the Company, through an indirect wholly owned subsidiary, acquired an office building containing 179,872 rentable square feet located on approximately 0.4 acres of land in Boston, Massachusetts (“50 Congress Street”).  The seller is not affiliated with the Company or KBS Capital Advisors LLC, the Company’s external advisor. The purchase price of 50 Congress Street was $51.0 million plus closing costs.  The Company funded the purchase of 50 Congress Street with proceeds from its initial public offering, but may later place mortgage debt on this property.  50 Congress Street was built in two phases in 1910 and 1915 and is currently 88% leased to 58 tenants.
