ITEM 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On July 2, 2013, William J. Simpson, Jr. resigned from his position as President of American CareSource Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”), effective July 1, 2013. The Company has agreed to make severance payments to Mr. Simpson at his current rate of pay through December 2013. The Board of Directors of the Company is conducting a search for a suitable replacement for Mr. Simpson.
