Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 1, 2013, Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Inc. issued a press release regarding the announcement of a protocol amendment to the company’s pivotal Phase 3 trial of TH-302, an investigational hypoxia-targeted drug, in patients with advanced soft tissue sarcoma. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has agreed to the amendment under the existing Special Protocol Agreement.
The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
