Item 8.01. Other Events.
On June 26, 2013, Darling International Inc. issued a press release announcing the mechanical completion and startup of Diamond Green Diesel, its joint venture project with Valero Energy Corporation. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
